THE ASSISTIVE DEVICES PROGRAM IN ONTARIO (ADP)
The Ontario Assistive Device Program (ADP)is a program operated by the Ministry of Health that provides persons in Ontario with long term physical disabilities access to funding for customized equipment like wheelchairs, walkers, and scooters. The devices covered are intended to help those with physical disabilities to improve their independence at home and in the community. Canada Care Medical is an authorized ADP vendor.

SENIORS’ HOME SAFETY TAX CREDIT FOR 2021
If you’re over 65, you may be eligible for the Ontario Seniors’ Home Safety Tax Credit. This tax credit covers products that will make your home safer and more accessible, helping your loved ones to stay safe and comfortable at home or for you to stay in your home longer.

FUNDING PROGRAMS BY PROVINCE
Other Canadian provinces offer different funding options specific to each. Spending some time searching these options online can potentially yield precious help to cover costs of some medical products.
There are other sources of funding available to help with the remaining cost incurred by individuals, as well as some that will help if you don’t qualify for ADP. For more information on these, visit:
